683 days ago Written by Now a days mobile phone battery life is becoming worst day by day. Most people often charge their mobile phone due to poor battery life. In this article i had mentioned few tips to increase mobile phone battery life.
Use a tone or a vibrator – Often people use both, i mean the ringtone as well as the vibrator. Avoiding this will definetly increase the battery to last longer.
Brightness – Change the LCD settings in your mobile phone, try to lower your screen brightness so that it will help you to increase your battery power for few more hours when it is in dry state.
Do not restart often – Avoid restarting your mobile phone often. By avoiding this, a better way to increase your battery life.
Turn your backlight setting down – Most phones will allow you to adjust the amount of time your backlight stays on once you have stopped touching buttons. By reducing the time to minimum of 5 sec will surely help you to increase your battery life to some extent.
Avoid screen saver - Avoiding setting up screen saver option, most phones have animated screen saver option. By turning off screen saver option you can increase your battery life.
Avoid keytones – Even you can avoid keytones to some extent, By turning it off you can save some battery power.
Games – The most important part is playing games in mobile phones. By avoiding this you can save a pretty amount of battery power, this will increase the battery life.
Turn off bluetooth – Turn off the bluetooth when not in use, bluetooth is known as power hungry application. This is another important thing to look inorder to gain a good battery life.
Turn off Wi-Fi – Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use. Most of the people leave Wi-Fi on even in the areas where there is no Wi-Fi network.
Avoid turning on loudspeakers for a longer period – Use a head set to listen to music. Do not turn on loudspeakers for hours. Turning off loudspeakers will surely increase the battery life.

One the best methods to extend battery life on my iPhone was to change email “PUSH” to “FETCH” Every 15 minutes. The “Push” setting leaves the data connection open continuously.

Those are great tips for those who want to save their battery. But, I have problem with a single point. Games? Do you thinks its a must to avoid them. Well, I know it saves lot of time but, avoiding them is a bit difficult.

I agree with your opinion dude, But one cannot avoid playing games all of a sudden. But avoiding games will surely improve the battery life..

Don’t wait for the battery to discharge completely ppl. in real-life, having a communication device in an emergency situation is life-saving. don’t risk. keep it well charged, though not to be frantic over keeping it 100% charged.
